Ok so I have always used my cartridge gun on myself exclusively, never anyone else (and never will). Due to this, and where I have previously tattooed myself, I can get myself in some pretty awkward angles and positions. I have never even considered a cover or tape for the gun as its for myself, and my cart gun is pretty clean with minimal splash-back, so no worries there. I got this on vine as I am simply able to test it properly, and so am able to give a fair and honest review. What I hadn't really considered are the benefits of the tape for grip while I am doing my tattoo-based yoga to myself. Blimey. It just so happens the next tattoo I did was a touch up on my upper forearm stretching around to my elbow - which is a pretty funky angle to be getting yourself in. What I noticed almost immediately was the rigid grip I had on the gun, which was far more prominent than I was expecting. The cover was not noticable, which is only a good thing, but the standout here for me is the tape, and moving forward I will be using it for the rest of my scribbling! Very impressed.
